MSSA 600 Yard IBS BENCHREST

Would you like to shoot long range in competition? Ever shoot 1/4 MOA or less at 600 yards? Whether this interests you as a new shooter or an experienced long range shooter, we'd like to invite you to Memphis Sport Shooting Association - MSSA. Beginning Saturday April 20, 2013, we'll host (5) IBS Sanctioned 600 yard benchrest matches. IBS Shooter of the Year points will be awarded in all five scheduled matches. All Matches in 2013 will be held/begin on Saturday

Match #1 - Saturday April 20th (Results)

Matches #2 & #3 - Saturday & Sunday May 18th & 19th (Double Match Weekend) (Results)

Matches #4 & #5 - Saturday & Sunday Sept. 21st & 22nd (Double Match Weekend)

Registration & Practice on Friday - Noon until Sunset.

NOTE: You Must Be Registered Before Firing

Registration ends 8:00 AM on Match Day - Early registration prefered to pre-assign benches, set targets, etc.

Factory Class Rifles - Updated March 3, 2012

All factory class rifles must be Factory Built Bolt Actions. Guns must be standard factory chambered offering. No wildcats, tightneck or improved chambers. Basic accurizing such as bedding, adjustment of factory triggers, recrowning or setback of factory barrel is allowed. Barrel must be stamped with Factory Logo or ID Markings. No muzzle breaks. Must be factory unaltered stock with factory shape. Max fore-end width 3". Max weight if modified will be 15 pounds. Rifles must be fired from a rest (No Bipods) in a single shot fashion. Rounds cannot be fired from a magazine.

PLEASE NOTE:

MSSA Club Rules require that all shooters on the firing line utilize Eye & Ear Protection. All shooting rests with pointed feet must be used with 'Super Feet' or other rest pads. Please do not tap feet into the bench top surface.
